Every visit to The Wetlands Institue includes the Tidepool Museum Shop, a member of the American Association of Museums, noted for its nature books, unique gifts, prints and crafts.

Acclaimed as "the best naturalist's bookstore on the East Coast", our Tidepool shop offers adult and childrens books and a wide variety of gifts on nature themes.

Posters and signed numbered prints are available too! We have a large selection of Wings 'n Water posters. Prints of Stone Harbor Bridge or of the Wetlands Institute by William Ressler. We even have a beautiful print of an osprey hunting by Taylor Oughton.

This unique shop features an extensive collection of field guides and natural history books covering local habitats such as the saltmarsh, dunes, beach, and nature. We have the latest birding guides and are always continually updating our inventory.

Science gifts await the young naturalist. Binoculars, magnifiers, bug condos, compasses, fish and seine nets and a field guide are good ways to give your student a head start. Custom designed Denim shirts, T-shirts, windshirts, sweatshirts, hats, and tote bags make great gifts. Treat yourself as well! Socks in animal themes including snowy owls await you.

Come see the Revolving Carving Show with displays from famous carvers in this area. Their beautiful pieces of artwork are available for purchase.
