Covered Dish Dinner: Return of the Osprey

As we do every year, it ’s time to welcome the osprey back to the shore. Ben Wurst, the New Jersey Fish & Wildlife Department’s osprey expert, tells us about Seven Mile Island’s osprey population, the densest in the entire state.

Author Jane Kirkland’s children's books have encouraged you to "Take A Walk..." in all sorts of habitats, from cities to seashores. Her new book is all about wetlands, and includes portions written by the Wetlands Institute staff. She’ll unveil the new book right here, and sign copies.
